Does the product auctioned on Winning Bids have a warranty?

Yes, according to the specifications for each brand, all products have warranty.

What if I don’t win an auction?

In case, you did not win an auction, Winning Bids offers 'buy it now' option where you can buy the product at a price less than the cost of bids you placed. You can use this option at any time after placing the first bid.

How much does a bid cost?

You have different packages designed based on your requirement. The price of bid changes depends on the package. Bigger the package, more the money you save.

How many types of auctions are available and what are they?

There are more than 14 types of auctions available. Each auction is exclusively designed for different purpose and in different pattern. Most of the auctions fall under the below categories:

Regular Auctions: The auctions that are live from 10:30 AM to 11 PM daily are called regular auctions. After 11 PM, the regular auctions are paused and continued on the next day within the same time schedules.

Can I revert back my bid while auction process is going on?

No, you cannot revert back your bid. Once you submit a bid it is final.

Is it possible for me to bid same product multiple times?

Yes, you can bid any number of times for the same product.

How should I start bidding?

To start bidding on Winning Bids, register with Winning Bids by opening an online account which is very simple and quick. Once you get activated @ Winning Bids, you can upload bids on your account via different channels.

Are the products displayed for auction new and branded?

Yes. Winning Bids has exclusive stock that is brand new and manufactured by branded owners.

What is a Bid Package? How does it help me?

Bid package is a number of bids together applicable for certain specified amount that can used for online bidding. We have different kind of bid packages designed to suit different users. It helps the user to continue bidding easily without bothering about reaching to the number of bids for a specified amount.

The following Bid packages from Winning Bids will suit different types of users.

Rs. 500.00 – 25 Bids
Rs. 1,150.00 – 50 Bids
Rs. 1,500.00 – 75 Bids
Rs. 2,700.00 – 150 Bids
Rs. 3,750.00 – 250 Bids
Rs. 6,000.00 – 500 Bids
Rs. 10,000.00 – 1000 Bids

Based on the bid package, you will have to bear a cost of Rs10 – Rs 25 per bid.

How can I buy bids?

You can buy them through online payment mode supported by electronic payment trading partners like Visa and Master Card.

Do you offer free bids?

Yes, it will help you get used to the online bidding process. You get 3 free bids as you sign up and register your mobile number on Winning Bids. And also you get 2 bids when you write a testimonial and 2 bids when you refer a friend.

Will I always have to be online and actively participate in the entire online bidding process?

No, it is not required. Winning Bids provides an assistant called “Bidwiser” that helps to bid continuously even in your absence. In situations where you cannot access Internet to participate in the bid, Bidwiser will assist you in the bidding process. You just have to set Bidwiser with the high and low price for the bid, and the number of bids you want to attempt. Bidwiser will automatically bid your auction based on your budget plan and bidding pattern.

What is the Bidwiser? How does it exactly work?

Bidwiser is an assistant that can help you to participate in online biding even in your absence. Bidwiser is easily accessible to registered users. It has simple steps to follow to set your online bidding style:

Logon to your Bidwiser account.
Check for the availability of the bids in your account
Select the product you want to bid
Click for the Bidwiser option in that auction
Just select the price range and number of bids you would like Bidwiser to act for you.
Then finally activate Bidwiser to begin the bidding process.

Now Bidwiser will help you to bid in your absence if you want to enter the online bidding between the auctions, you can even stop or change the Bidwiser options

Is online bidding allowed in night times?

Yes, there are few auctions that specifically run for 24 hrs. Otherwise all auctions are generally between 10:30 AM to 11 PM. Winning Bids displays auction times of all the products.

How do I know if I am the highest bidder?

Your name will be displayed on website if you are the highest bidder.

How many types of bids are available?

There are regular and free bids available on Winning Bids. Regular bids are the most common auctions, which are purchased in the form of bid packages. Free bids are those that you get after registering with Winning Bids.

I have just won an auction! What should I do next?

That's great! Congratulations! You will receive an automated e-mail with instructions about the payment process from Winning Bids. Make your payments within 7 days after winning the auction. You will receive a confirmation mail on the receipt of the payment and then the arrangement for the delivery of product will be made. If you do not receive the products within 7 – 10 days after the payment, please email to the support team at support@winningbids.com.

Can I view who else is bidding for the same auction which I am bidding?

Yes, you can view the other online bidders who are bidding for the same product as you did. Just click on “More Info” to check the last 10 bidders who placed bids on the same product.

How can I find Bidwiser?

Logon to Winning Bids and then go to 'My Winning Bids' and choose the option 'My Bidwiser'.

Is bidding a legal concept and what is the stand of Winning Bids as a legal online bidding site?

Yes, bidding and auctions of products like electronics, home made appliances and regular commodities are very much legal. The total concept of bidding is followed on lines of regulations formed by government legislation for the online bidding and auctions.

Remember Winning Bids is not a replica of lottery method you win by chance or luck. It is a whole process of exclusive participation of online bidders, bidding for auctioned products either manually or with the help of Bidwiser.

You can buy the products through purchasing bid packages by payment methods available and supported by electronic payment trading partners Visa and Master card.

Managing My Account

How do I change my password?

Just go to My Account, click 'Change Password' and follow the instructions.

Forgot my username and password?

Click on “Forget password” link. You will be asked to enter the registered username and email address. In a short time, you will receive an email with login credentials.

How do I subscribe/unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Go to My Account. Click Edit Profile, and Check/Uncheck/Remove the “Sign up for the newsletter?” checkbox.

Can I change my username?

Yes, you have the option to change your User Name. Login with your credentials and go to My Winning Bids page. On the left panel, Go to My profile>Click Edit Profile. On the right of the screen you get form with your existing username and details. Type the new user name you want in the field against Username and Click on Save Changes. Your Username will be changed.

How do I delete my account?

Please email our support team at support@winningbids.com with account details to delete your account. Please give us the reason for leaving so that we improve the quality of our services.

Where can I check my bids account?

Go to My Winning Bids account and select My Bids Tab. You will get a display of your bids activity for the products you auctioned.

Delivery and Shipping

How much time will it take for the product to be delivered?

Usually, it takes around 7 – 10 days for any product to be delivered. In case you don’t receive the product within two weeks after the payment, you should contact our customer service at support@winningbids.com

I don’t live in India, but I would like to bid on Winning Bids, Can I bid?

Yes! You are always welcome to participate in online bidding on Winning Bids from any corner of the world. The only thing you need to have is an Indian Postal Address, unfortunately as we do not have a shipping facility outside India. If you win, your product will be delivered to the specified Indian address only.

What is the delivery cost?

Delivery cost is the charge for delivery of the products via courier. The delivery cost can be seen in the payment information of auctioned products.

Do you substitute items?

No, we do not. But in a very rare case, when we are unable to source the product specified in the auction, we substitute the similar product of same value with your confirmation. In most situations, it is an advantage to you as the product can be an upgraded version

Returns and Warranty

I received a faulty product, what to do?

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Sometimes a product may be a faulty one or might have damaged while in transit. Please feel free to inform our support team. We will try to solve the problem quickly. You can also check the manufacturer's website or call their helpline to find a simpler solution. Winning Bids works with a range of different suppliers who are happy to help and identify any problems and in many cases can replace faulty products if it is necessary.
Send us an email to support@winningbids.com with required information, Auction ID, Username, Faults and Serial number of the product, for us to look into the matter seriously and resolve it at the earliest.

Please remember that you should not send back the products to us or to the shipper without any prior information to Winning Bids.

I want to return the product I won and get back my money? What can I do?

Please contact our support team with your auction ID and user name, and let us know why you want to return the product. Then if you really want to return it, you will be refunded with the final auction price and original delivery cost. You will not get back the cost of bids you placed in an auction.

Winning Bids accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Carte Bleue Visa, PayPal and Net Banking accounts such as Allahabad Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Bank of Rajasthan, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Deutshce Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Karnataka Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, South Indian Bank, Vijaya Bank, Yes Bank.
